Northern Irish band Ash, who have sold 8 million albums worldwide, has a long successful history with notable achievements that include:

·         Ash have enjoyed 18 top 20 singles in the UK

·         Original band members Tim Wheeler, Rick "Rock" McMurray and Mark Hamilton were still in high school when three of their singles hit the Top Five in the U.K. indie charts.

·         In 1996 Ash garnered 2 UK Top 5 hits with, Goldfinger and Oh Yeah, and sold out 5 consecutive nights at the London Astoria.

·         In 2001 constant touring pays off for the band and in January Ash’s first chart single in almost two years, Shining Light smashes its way into the UK Top 10.

·         The multi platinum album Free All Angels released in May of 2001 beat Janet Jackson to the coveted Number One spot.

·         During 2001 the band headlined Reading, and embarked on a world tour.

·         Free All Angels spawned two more hit singles, Sometimes and Candy   

·         Q magazine crowned their return to form with the ‘Single of the Year Award’ for Burn Baby Burn.

·         In 2002 the bands single There’s A Star off the album Free All Angels, gave them their 5th UK Top 20 hit.

·         After nearly 12 months of work the band have released what amounts to a creative Everest, the ‘A-Z Series’: 26 singles in one year. A single for each letter of the alphabet released every fortnight. Released on their own independent record label, the aim is to release singles instead of conventional albums.
