The 357's, originally a four piece band, hooked up in the Summer of 2008. Now, a three piece consisting of : Andre Naude on vocals and guitar, Chris Riordan on bass and Brendt Schneider on drums have all brought their own musical influences to the table and unitedly created the sound of the band. Each member, with a profound love of classic Rock 'n Roll , Punk, Blues and Grunge have combined their individual influences to produce the sound that is 'The 357's'. Since its inception as a three piece, the band has performed around Cape Town, neighbouring towns as well as their hometown, Somerset West. These Rock 'n Rollers , having played both roaring gigs as well as soothing acoustic sets, demonstrate their capability of being versatile and catering for all audiences, provided that they have a love and adoration of Rock 'n Roll. As for their future goals ? : "Of course, the cliche of becoming a household name , both locally and worldwide, but we take it one song at a time without losing sight of why we do what we do, primarily for the passion and love for music".
